Emerald Coast Fall Classic


GUARANTEED GOOD TIME! We know that you have been following the oil disaster down here and are wondering about this fall’s tournament. Truthfully there has been little impact here on the Emerald Coast so far. With new technologies emerging almost daily we feel that the impact on our fall event will be negligible. We are still planning a great time for everyone attending and WE GUARANTEE IT! If for some reason the beaches are closed due to the oil spill we will refund your entry fees 100%. HELPING A FRIEND! As many of you know Ranse Jones, well known Florida volleyball player and all around good guy suffered a brain aneurysm this spring during a volleyball tournament in Panama City. Unfortunately, Ranse is still in a coma in a care center near his hometown of St. Augustine, Florida. Usually we conduct a raffle each tournament to help the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, but this fall the proceeds for our raffle will go to Ranse’s family to help them with their medical expenses. And, as usual, the Grand Prize for the raffle will be a four day vacation package from ResortQuest! A SPECIAL GUEST! AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Champion and www.VolleyballVacations.com owner Albert "AL-B" Hannemann will be joining us. He will hanging out and playing with us all weekend and telling us about his very popular beach volleyball vacations. "I have heard for years how amazing the Emerald Coast events are and can't wait to play and party with everyone and have a great weekend." POPULAR DEMAND! We have had many requests to add the Bring Your Own Doubles tournament to the fall lineup and this year we are going to give it a shot! As such, our first tournament this fall will be on Wednesday! So, grab your favorite partner and head on down a day early! We will be ready for you with our first fall Bring Your Own Doubles tournament. Divisions top	Fudpucker 4 Player: Men – Open, A, BB, B, Seniors (40+) Women – Open, A, BB, B Best of the Beach: Men – Open/A, BB/B Women – Open/A, BB/B Coed Best Kid (Played on Friday) Doubles Draw: Men – Open/A, BB/B Women – Open/A, BB/B
Tournament Formats top	Fudpucker 4 Player: Two-day event with Pool Play on Saturday and Playoffs on Sunday. All teams except in Men’s BB and B advance to playoffs. Big Courts, no net serves and sideout scoring. Best of the Beach: One-day, doubles event with individuals playing with different partners throughout the day utilizing rally scoring. The player accumulating the most points wins. Short Courts & Rally Scoring Doubles Draw: One-day, doubles event with players blind drawing for partners and playing with that partner all day. Pool play followed by playoffs. Short Courts & Rally Scoring.
